These IEDs were recently seized and destroyed in Salah al-Din Governorate, district of Baiji Salahaddin province, Iraq. The explosive cache contains materials common within the area of Iraq including plastic jug containers and fabricated metal pipe containers with welded carry handles. The explosive material is visible in several of the devices due to the metal end plates having been opened or removed and is visually consistent with ammonium nitrate and aluminum (AN/AL). This homemade explosive (HME) is common to devices found throughout Iraq and Syria. One “hell cannon” round is also present. The Iraqi demolition team is seen preparing explosive charges with detonator cord to destroy the items in place
